Welcome to Duzy Services! These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and services. By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

Duzy Services provides cleaning, handyman, landscaping, general labor, and painting services for residential and commercial properties. These Terms apply to all users of our services.

2. Service Agreement

- All services are subject to availability and may require an appointment.

- Quotes and estimates provided are subject to change based on an on-site assessment.

- We reserve the right to refuse service for reasons including, but not limited to, unsafe working conditions or non-compliance with these Terms.

3. Pricing and Payments

- Emergency or after-hours services may be subject to an additional fee of $100.

- Specialty materials or services beyond the standard scope may incur extra charges, which will be discussed before work begins.

- Late payments beyond 7 days may incur an additional $25 late fee.

- Service rates vary based on job complexity, materials, and location.

- A down payment may be required for large or custom jobs.

- Down payments are non-refundable, even if a cancellation occurs.

- Full payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed.

- We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.

- Same-day cancellations may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

- In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions affecting landscaping jobs), Duzy Services reserves the right to reschedule.

5. No-Show & Late Fees

- If our subcontractors arrive and the client is not available within 15 minutes of the scheduled time, a no-show fee of $50 may be applied.

- If a client is late for a scheduled appointment, additional charges may be incurred based on waiting time and scheduling impact.

- For rental or Airbnb properties, clients are not required to be present during the service, but clear instructions for access must be provided in advance.

6. Refund Policy

- Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method or as a credit for future services, based on client preference.

- Down payments are non-refundable under any circumstances.

- Refunds are only considered for services that were not performed as agreed and must be requested within 48 hours of service completion.

- Approved refunds may be issued as a partial or full credit toward future services.

7. Client Responsibilities

- Clients must provide a safe and accessible workspace for our subcontractors.

- Personal belongings should be secured before services begin.

- Clients are responsible for notifying us of any special instructions or concerns before the service starts.

8. Right to Refuse Service

- Duzy Services reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if the work environment is deemed unsafe, hazardous, or if staff are subject to harassment or inappropriate behavior.

- If service is refused under these circumstances, no refunds will be provided.

9. Liability and Damages

- Our insurance or the subcontractor(s) insurance covers damages caused directly by our subcontractors up to a specified limit. Clients may request further details regarding coverage upon request.

- While we take every precaution to provide high-quality services, Duzy Services is not responsible for pre-existing damages.

- Any damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.

- We are insured for major damages caused directly by our subcontractors.

- Limitation of Liability: Duzy Services' total liability for any claim arising out of or related to services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.

10. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

- Duzy Services is not responsible for delays or service cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

- Natural disasters (e.g., hurricanes, earthquakes, floods)

- Power outages

- Government restrictions

- Severe weather conditions

11. Client Property & Access

- If a client provides access to their home via key or security code, Duzy Services agrees to maintain confidentiality and return all access materials upon request.

- If the client requests service in their absence, Duzy Services is not liable for any claims of lost or damaged property unless proven to be caused by our team.

12. Service Limitations

- Duzy Services does not provide structural repairs, electrical rewiring, plumbing beyond minor repairs, or hazardous material removal. Clients should seek licensed professionals for such services.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Florida. Clients outside Florida agree that any disputes will be resolved in a Florida-based court.

- In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Mediation will take place in Florida and be facilitated by a mutually agreed-upon mediator or a certified mediation service.

- Any unresolved disputes will be governed by the laws of Florida.

14. Use of Customer Reviews & Photos

- Duzy Services may take before/after photos of completed work for promotional purposes.

- We will not disclose personal client details without consent.

- Clients who provide reviews agree to allow their feedback to be used in marketing materials.

15. Equipment & Supply Responsibility

- Unless specified, Duzy Services or the subcontractor(s) provides all necessary equipment and cleaning products.

- Clients requesting the use of specific products must provide them in advance.

16. Indemnification

- Subcontractor Disclaimer: Duzy Services acts solely as a coordinator of subcontractors and is not responsible for independent subcontractor actions beyond the scope of the agreed-upon service.

- Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Duzy Services and its subcontractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use of our services, except in cases of proven negligence on our part.

17. Non-Solicitation

- Clients agree not to solicit, hire, or contract directly with Duzy Services subcontractors for private work outside of our official service agreements for a period of 3 months after service completion.

18. Termination of Services

- Duzy Services reserves the right to terminate a service agreement with a 24-hour notice due to non-payment, unsafe conditions, repeated cancellations, or any other violations of these Terms.

19. Service Warranty & Satisfaction Guarantee

- Legal Disclaimer: Duzy Services provides all services 'as is' and disclaims all warranties, express or implied, except as explicitly stated in this agreement.

- Duzy Services offers a 30-day service warranty on applicable work. If any issues arise due to our workmanship within this period, we will provide a reasonable solution at no additional cost.

- If you are dissatisfied with a service, you must notify us within 24 hours for resolution.

- Rework requests are subject to management approval and availability.

20. Privacy Policy

- We respect your privacy and do not share personal information with third parties.

- Any data collected is used solely for service-related communication and improvements.

21. Changes to Terms

- We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time.

- Continued use of our services after updates constitutes agreement to the new Terms.
